Now that Karnival Qurban 2026 has come to an end, we want to share a quick recap of what went down at our newly renovated feedlot in Kg Sungai Kelambu, Banting. This year was a major milestone for Tayyib Ranch, combining a 5-day community event with a massive, round-the-clock qurban operation.
Part 1: The Community Carnival (22/5 – 26/5)
We kicked things off on May 22nd with an opening ceremony of Karnival Qurban 2026 attended by Supt. Mohd Akmalrizal Bin Radzi (Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Langat), followed by a doa selamat ceremony with YB. Datuk Borhan Bin Aman Shah.
For five days, our feedlot was open to the public with plenty of family activities, including cow feeding, funfair games, food stalls, and a chance to see our sado cows up close. To celebrate the festive season, we also provided a free-flow buffet for everyone who visited during the Haji days.
Part 2: Nationwide Live Deliveries
In the three days leading up to Hari Raya Haji, our logistics team was fully focused on transporting 279 live cows to our clients. While the majority of deliveries were around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, our trucks traveled across the country to safely deliver cows to Penang, Johor, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan.
Part 3: The 4-Day Slaughter & Packaging Operation
Once Hari Raya Haji arrived, our team transitioned into the slaughtering phase. Over four consecutive days, we managed the slaughter, processing, and packaging of approximately 120 client and charity cows.
To handle the heavy workload, we partnered with the local residents of Kg Sungai Kelambu to help us with the meat packaging. We are incredibly glad we could provide meaningful festive job opportunities to the local residents during this festive period.
Making an Impact: 15 Tons of Meat Distributed
Thanks to the hard work of our team and the locals, we successfully processed and distributed a total of 15 tons of meat to asnaf and those in need which also includes nearby villages, including Kg Sungai Kelambu, Kg Kanchong Darat, Kg Sungai Lang Tengah and Kg Sungai Lang Baru.
We’ve also handed out 1,700 packs of free meat to families who walked into our ranch during Hari Raya Haji.
